Newly Found CvSU Maragondon Joins University Games, 2015
Faculties and students of CvSU (Cavite State University) welcomed the participants from CvSU Maragondon Campus as they walked in the parade of delegations and entered at the opening program of this year’s university games held in university grandstand of CvSU Indang, Main Campus on September 14, 2015.
CvSU Maragondon also called as “baby campus” opened last June 15, 2015. For now, it serves as the extension of CED (College of Education) in CvSU-Main. They will be joining inter-high school for this year’s UGames since they only offer elementary and secondary education.
According to Dr. Ammie P. Ferrer, CvSU Maragondon’s administrator, they were only consisted of 12 students (ten players for men’s basketball team and two players for chess) and 18 faculty members for this 5-day intramurals meet.
“Excited ang mga bata, kasi first time lang nilang pumunta rito,” Dr. Ferrer added.
